Rebel Pages: A Zine Workshop for Political Overwhelm

Rebel Bloom Presents: A Creative Space for Channeling Your Anger, Grief, and Hope

Feeling overwhelmed by post-election emotions? You’re not alone. In the wake of political upheaval, many of us are left carrying frustration, grief, and anger with nowhere to put it. This workshop is here to change that.

Join us for a hands-on zine-making experience where you can:

  • Transform your feelings into something tangible and powerful

  • Express yourself freely in a supportive, like-minded community

  • Explore themes of resistance, healing, and radical creativity

  • Walk away with your own DIY publication as a tool for reflection, activism, or catharsis

Why Zines?

Zines have long been a tool for radical self-expression and resistance. They allow us to share our stories, critique systems, and process emotions in ways that mainstream platforms don’t always make space for. Whether you want to create a personal manifesto, an artistic vent, or a visual reflection, this workshop is for you.

Who is this for?

This workshop is open to anyone 18+ who is looking for a non-traditional, non-therapeutic space to process post-election emotions through creative expression. No prior art or writing experience necessary—just bring yourself, your feelings, and a willingness to create.

What to Expect:

  • Guided prompts to spark your creativity

  • A welcoming, judgment-free environment

  • Time to work independently or collaborate

  • Online format—join from anywhere!

  • Bring your own supplies—the beauty of zine-making is that you can use whatever you have on hand. No specialist art supplies needed! Magazines, paper, pens, scissors, glue, and even scrap materials all work perfectly.
